How many beach clubs does Cozumel have
Cozumel has a total of 31 beach clubs spread out across the island. That is a lot of beach clubs to choose from when it comes to your port call day, but it’s not as overwhelming as it seems.
A few of these were so bad I walked in snapped a few photos and walked right back out. I didn’t even ask for my entry fee back, I just wanted to leave. You won’t have to worry about this because I didn’t include these in the list and the clubs that made it you’ll get a good feel for before you book a day pass.
Best Beach Club In Cozumel?
The best beach club in Cozumel mexico is Paradise Beach Club. This is a difficult choice because there are so many factors but overall this one is absolute best. They have excellent food, a large clean pool and beach toys. The atmosphere is a balance of spring break and higher-end resort with the music and cabanas.

The beach view of Paradise Beach Cozumel
Pro Tip: We are a 2 min walk from Paradise beach. Stay with them and play with us!
But there are so many places to spend the day, all with there own set of pros and cons. If your looking for beach clubs that are perfect for families, adults only or something more secluded keep reading to find your perfect match.
How Much is a Day Pass at a Paradise Beach?
A day pass at the famous Paradise Beach in Cozumel will run you $75 for adults and $45 for kids. Remember this is a All-inclusive price for unlimited food, drinks and amenities which is really convenient and enjoyable. They also have cabanas which are FREE and very comfortable.
Yes $75 is high, they have raised their prices but there is a positive to spending a day at this particular beach club… They are literally next door to us, so if you walk 50 feet through the sand you can check-in for anyone of our Cozumel Excursions with Free cancelation.
So instead of worrying about taking another taxi and getting back to the shop ontime you get everything in one place. Parasailing is our best selling activity perfect for beginners and kids.
Beach Clubs In Cozumel Near Cruise Port
For those of you looking for beach clubs close your port I recommend either Money Bar Beach Club (Dzul) or Sky Reef Beach Club. The are only a short taxi ride from the International Cruise ship Terminal & Puerta Maya. Cruise ships docking at Punta Langosta it will take a extra 5 minutes to get to these beach clubs.
When you get off your cruise ship there will be signs directing you where to go separating pass ever who booked excursions through the cruise line and people who didn’t.
Just follow the signs to the taxis, double check your prices on the huge board for your party size and head down. When your leaving taxis are always waiting outside the beach clubs so don’t worry about getting back.
Pro Tip: You don’t not to reserve in advance at either place they don’t get crazy busy like other places on this list.
Skyreef Beach Club Cozumel
International Pier: 4 miles
Punta Langosta: 6 miles
Entry Fee: $20
Sky Reef Beach club is a 10 minute taxi ride making it the closest beach club to any of cozumels Cruise ports. Taxis will run you $16 (one way) for two people. Sky reef beach club is great option for people looking for middle of the road. Not lots of kids, or even people like other places.
For $20 you get entry, complimentary snorkel gear and two free drinks or tequila tasting. This includes beach chair, towel and umbrella. The food is average in my opinion and portion sizes are small, so of you opt for the all inclusive order two orders It’s rocky going out about 3 feet so be careful.

Skyreef from the pier to the water
Pro tip: is to not forget to ask for the free 5-minute massage. The water is super clear, tons of fish but the rocks are slippery. You can swim out to the rope they set and see down about 18 feet to the reef with ease. It’s gets busy during the afternoon for snorkeling with it being so close to the pier.
The Money Bar Beach Club
International Pier: 5.5 miles
Punta Langosta: 7.4 miles
Entry Fee: $20
The Money Bar (Dzul-Ha Reef) is the quintessential “local favorite” that cruise shippers often miss even though it’s the 2nd closest Cozumel beach club near the cruise port. It’s only an additional 5 minute taxi ride past sky reef. It’s the popular spot for budget travelers, snorkeling enthusiasts. I wrote about MB in another blog because it is the best beach for snorkeling in Cozumel.
They have beach loungers, and a large covered eating area with great space to relax. Food has improved significantly over the last year for sure! Money Bar really comes alive for happy hour from 5-7p where you can get 2 for 1. Super convenient location and the free entry (with food purchase) makes it a good choice.
Vibe: Casual, laid-back, and excellent for underwater exploration. It’s not a sandy beach; it sits right on a man-made cement patio with direct stair access into the ocean.

The dining area is to the left of here
Who Should Go: Budget-conscious travelers, serious snorkelers, and anyone looking for a quick, high-value stop.
Best Beach Clubs In Cozumel For Adults
These three are the best beach clubs in Cozumel for adult. All of these private beach clubs have a relaxed, tranquil adult focused atmosphere perfect for adults. No splash pads or dedicated kids areas which means you can enjoy a quiet day. For more of a adults only Party atmosphere the best choice is Paradise beach or Mr Sancho’s who has a dedicated “adults only” area.

Nachi Cocom Cozumel Beach Club
Vibe: Chill | Entrance Fee: $69 | 4.5 ⭐ (1.5k)
If your looking for a relaxed, chill vibe that’s not “party” then Nachi Cocom Beach Club is perfect for you. They limit the number of guests that can enter each day to 130, making the day pass feel a little more exclusive. There isn’t fist pump music blasting like other beach clubs in cozumel. It offers an all-inclusive day pass package.
The food feels like your ordering off a actually menu vs. greasy cheap bland bar food. Bartenders are attentive and drinks are delicious and make with love
They don’t have a ton of water toys or things for kids so the crowd is primarily older or at least adults. You will see kids there but this isn’t a place I would say is full of kids and it’s definitely not a party atmosphere. package that includes access to a swimming pool, Jacuzzi, swim-up bar, restaurant, and watersports equipment.
Buccanos Cozumel
Vibe: Chill | Entrance Fee: $25 | 4.6 ⭐ (3k)
Buccanos Beach Club in Cozumel has a fixed entrance fee of 400 pesos per person due upon arrival. The entrance fee can be used for food and drinks at the restaurant or bar. The bar stands out from other beach clubs on Cozumel because they offer an evening seating during Buccanos At Night.
Buccanos is a private beach club that sits on San Juan Beach, which is a short distance from the main island town of San Miguel. The amenities include a fresh water pool, snorkeling and equipment, beach massage, parasailing, Jet Skiing, scuba diving, and full restaurant with bar. Buccanos at Night is a multi-ethnic dining experience with seafood and seasonal ingredients.
Del Mar Latino Beach Club
Vibe: Adult | Entry Fee: $45 | 4.7 ⭐ (383)
This adults ONLY exclusive beach club is one I consider to be a true hidden gem. They limit their customers to around 40 people due to the size and to keep the atmosphere “peaceful”. The food portions are smaller but absolutely cooked to perfection. Not many people mention it but I loved it here. It’s stacks up against the great ones for sure.
They have open bar both alcoholic and nonalcoholic drinks. The pool is smaller but it nice, and clean. This beach club like others doesn’t have an actual sandy beach but you can snorkel. You will see the cruise ship but if that doesn’t bother you this place is a winner!
Best Beach Clubs for Excursions
If your looking for activities and Tous you don’t want to choose a beach club like Playa Palancar or Chakanab. The location of them prevents you from accessing them because they have different plans for you. For exciting things like Cenote ATV Tours or snorkeling in the insanely clear El Cielo Beach water I recommend the these beach clubs.

Are There Free Beach Clubs in Cozumel?
No, there are no Free access beach clubs in Cozumel as of January 2026. I have put together a short list of free beaches in cozumel or those that are nearly so of you want to relax in the sand without paying.
A few of them take whatever you pay as an entrance fee credit it toward your food and drinks. Also, Cozumel’s beaches are legally required to be open to the public.
Pro Tip Bring your water shoes! Avoid the hot sand, spiky sea urchins and sharp rocks.
Can I Walk from a Cruise Port to a Beach Club on Cozumel?
Let’s start with the cruise port’s location to get the lay of the land. Cozumel has three cruise ship terminals: Terminal de Cruceros Plaza Langosta, Muelle Internacional, and Muelle Puerta Maya. Each cruise line uses one particular port, so which terminal you’ll use to disembark will depend on which cruise line you’re sailing.
All three terminals are conveniently located near Cozumel’s main town of San Miguel and near island activities, tours, and the beach clubs in Cozumel. Once on the island, you’ll only require a few minutes to realize that you need to rearrange how you think about distance because the island is only 30 miles long and 10 miles wide. The small island makes getting to know Cozumel so much easier.

Additionally, because Cozumel’s economy relies on tourism, the overall vibe regarding alcohol is rather relaxed. You’ll see tourists carrying an open container of beer or toting a coconut with a little extra added to the water inside.
Overall, if you use you stay out of trouble and drink responsibly, you’ll most likely be fine, particularly on the beaches that the visitors from the cruise lines frequent. In the end, though, However, if you’re super drunk and loud or causing problems, you are very likely to be arrested.
In the end and at the end of the day, you are responsible and can use this information as you wish.
